1. What is the duration of the program?
The Executive MBA is a part-time two-year post-graduate programme in banking and financial services exclusively designed for finance professionals across sectors.
2. What would be the mode of delivery for the Program?
The MBA (Executive) Program delivered in part time mode, where classes shall be conducted on weekends on campus.
3. How the curriculum is different from the other MBA (Executive) Programmes offered?
The curriculum contents majorly focus on the functional areas in banking and financial services which would provide exposure to diverse specialized courses which would encourage advancement in career.
4. What is the uniqueness of MBA (Executive) Program at SSBF?
The MBA (Executive) Program at SSBF is designed to empower working professionals in the dynamic banking and finance industry with wide range of courses with coverage across various functional domains.
5. What is the duration of the MBA (Executive) Program?
The MBA Executive Program is a 2 years programme with 100 credits. Classes are conducted on all weekends i.e. Saturday and Sunday, between 9am-5pm.
6. What are the eligibility criteria to get admission in MBA Executive Program?
Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes).

7. Can I continue with the Program if I leave or switch my job?
The MBA (Executive) programme of SSBF is irrespective of specific job profiles/ sectors / demographics. Since the programme is conducted on weekends, minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for appearing the SIU examination.
8. What if I get transferred to some other city or go abroad for a long stint on project? Can I still continue?
As this is not a Distance Education Program, attending classes is mandatory for which one has to visit SSBF on weekends, Lavale campus for the duration of the programme.
9. What if I miss or fail in the final exam?
There are continuous evaluations as part of Internal Assessment which take place throughout the Semester in the form of assignments, quizzes, class tests, etc. Term end examinations are conducted by SIU at the end of the Semester. If the internal examinations are missed due to unavoidable circumstances there shall be option for re-test to be conducted. For the term end examination there are no provisions related to conduct of retest, student will be marked absent and shall appear in the subsequent semester end examination for which he/she was absent.
10. Can someone pursue any other Post Graduate Program along with MBA Executive?
Two University Programs cannot be pursued simultaneously. However, if it is a non-university course, it is possible.
11. Is MBA Executive a Part-Time, Full-Time or Distance Education Program? How is the degree awarded? Is it recognized by UGC?

Yes, you can go for higher education such as Ph.D. from any University within or outside India.
13. Will I have access to the Institute’s campus on Sundays?
Yes. The SIU resources can be accessed and availed as in case for other regular programmes other than Sundays.
